Installation

Mix 1:1, Pour and Cross-Link in ~10 Minutes

Techno Gel Gum uses a two-component formulation mixed in a 1:1 ratio.

Installation Overview

Shake each component before use, as the material can separate
Mix components in a 1:1 ratio
Mix for approximately 1 minute
Pour within approximately 1 minute after mixing
Cross-linking time is approximately 10 minutes at 25°C
Ensure closures and protected areas are clean and dry before pouring

The mixed compound remains fluid so it can flow around protected connections before developing its soft gel-rubber structure.

For IP68 protection, the complete enclosure must be properly designed and assembled. IP68 applies to the finished protection system, not the gel by itself.

Can Techno Gel Gum be used for electronics and circuit boards?

Yes. Techno Gel Gum is suitable for electronic circuits as well as power and telecom connections. Before it sets, it has good flowability so it can flow around components and into small spaces.

Once set, it remains soft and removable rather than forming a permanent rigid mass.

How long does Techno Gel Gum take to set?

At 25°C (77°F), Techno Gel Gum cross-links in about 10 minutes. Mix the two components in a 1:1 ratio for no more than one minute and pour within one minute after mixing.
