Techno GelGum is a strong hold flexible elastomer whose formula has been optimized for the protection of POWER CABLE, TELECOM CABLE and ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT connections. A new recipe that gives the product a surprising, original texture that combines the characteristics of GEL and RUBBER to emphasize its features. It’s elastic and flexible like gel, but also tough and dry like rubber.

My first time

I was greatly pleased with your product. I was nervous about encapsulating my PCB because it is irreplaceable. It is 32 years old and one of a kind. After I made my component repairs I washed down the board on both sides with 91 percent alcohol. I waited one day with low heat applied to make sure that the alcohol evaporated. Then I mixed up a batch according to the directions and first poured some into the case. This is so the back side would be covered with the mixture. Then I carefully placed that PCB in the case and wiggled it around a bit so that it would flow through the little spaces on the back. Then I poured enough to cover the front side of the board. I was amazed at how fast and evenly it leveled out. The only thing that concerned me was that it didn't solidify in 10 minutes. So what I did was place a infra-red heat lamp approx. 3 feet over the board and in a hour it was beautiful .I think it's a great product. Len Verano

Great way to waterproof buried connections

I used GelGum in junction boxers on a buried electrical line in heavy clay soil that stays wet a long time, and it has worked great. It’s so effective that when I poured it into a box with a trace of water in the bottom of the box, it floated the water to the top of the pour where I could sudtion it off. Good stuff!!
